What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in building and executing platform strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience targeting
  2. Set targets to increase brand recognition, customer engagement and brand loyalty
  3. Support the design and execution of campaigns to deliver exceptional client engagement across channels for various audiences/client segments and drive projects and perform duties as and when required
  4. Plan, create, publish and share content that could be text, images, videos etc to increase top of mind brand awareness and build meaningful connections
  5. Optimise company pages and posts within each platform to increase the visibility of the firm’s social content whilst evaluating evolving tools and techniques to enhance ways of measuring social media activities

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing or equivalent
  • Dedicated working experience in social media, such as Instagram, RedNote, with proven results in creating strong content to drive awareness, engagement and conversion for leading brands
  • Good knowledge of social market landscape and platform dynamics in Asia
  • Experience in leveraging AI and technologies to drive social media objectives
  • Ability to articulate social media strategy and prove effective client engagement that leads to greater business value with use of data and statistics
  • Partner closely with the wider marketing team to ensure ‘always-on’ presence on key social media platforms and deliver on established social KPIs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail, both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

  • Minimum 8 years of dedicated experience and strong expertise in social media (general marketing experience covering social media would not be considered)
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, including their algorithms
  • In-depth experience with Chinese social media platforms and ability to apply effectively in other markets is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin or Japanese
  • Proven ability to manage projects and work efficiently in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced team environment
  • Understanding of the asset management industry and the regulatory requirements in the region is advantageous
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with broader business objectives
