This role is for an APAC Commercial Capabilities Lead at Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes division. The lead will direct managers and senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, focusing on career development, coaching, and feedback. The role contributes to business objectives by enhancing Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Contracting strategy, and implementing operational excellence programs. Key responsibilities include improving processes, implementing continuous improvement and automation, generating performance metrics, and maintaining knowledge of the DPS portfolio and industry best practices. The role also involves strategic decision-making support, developing pricing strategies, designing sales plans, and establishing key performance indicators.

What you'd actually do

  1. Directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback.
  2. Key partner to APAC Leadership Team providing strategic decision making support, coaching Commercial Capability organization in bringing expertise to local GM and commercial leaders.
  3. Delivers CommEx, Pricing & Contracting/Tendering vision and strategy for the commercial organization by retaining and applying an in-depth understanding of customer needs and leveraging those insights to create an unparalleled sales experience.
  4. Responsible for establishing APAC pricing strategy including floor price frameworks and compliance governance implemented via local operational execution excellence
  5. Participates in the design of strategic sales plans derived from corporate goals and customer touchpoints that leverage consumer data and customer insight to optimize CommEx, Pricing & Contracting/Tendering enablement and ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
