This role leads the Sales Development organization for OpenAI's Enterprise Go-To-Market in APAC, focusing on scaling pipeline generation and market development to drive enterprise adoption of OpenAI's AI platform. It involves building and managing SDR teams, defining regional GTM strategies, and partnering with various departments to convert interest into qualified opportunities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and scale OpenAI’s APAC Sales Development organization, including hiring strategy, org design, enablement, and performance management.
  2. Lead and develop front-line SDR managers and SDR teams across key APAC markets.
  3. Own the regional enterprise pipeline generation strategy, ensuring consistent, high-quality opportunity creation across the region.
  4. Translate product usage, pilots, developer engagement, and inbound interest into qualified enterprise opportunities.
  5. Develop localized and vertical-specific SDR motions tailored to APAC markets and buying environments.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, revenue, or GTM leadership.
  • Significant experience leading SDR or pipeline generation organizations across APAC.
  • Experience managing distributed, multicultural teams across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Built or scaled enterprise demand generation engines in fast-growing technology or platform businesses.
  • Fluent in product-led and usage-based GTM motions (PQLs, pilots, free-to-paid, expansion).
  • Understand the complexity and nuance of enterprise selling across APAC markets.
  • Highly data-driven, with strong experience in forecasting, pipeline analytics, and operational rigor.
  • Thrive in matrixed organizations spanning Sales, Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations.
  • Exceptional talent builder with the ability to coach leaders and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to engage with enterprise customers and partners across the region.
