This role is for a Senior Manager of Project Management within the MedTech Supply Chain Digital organization at Johnson & Johnson. The primary focus is on supporting the Transcend transformation programs, which are large-scale business and technology initiatives. The role involves overall project methodology, planning, management, risk management, and resource management, acting as a key liaison with the global program PMO and regional deployment teams. Key responsibilities include shaping PMO activities, reinforcing PMO cadence and methodology, managing interdependencies and risks, ensuring adherence to deployment standards and stage-gate governance, driving the use of project management tools like Jira and MS Project, and identifying process improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, significant experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or transformation programs, and specific experience in program management for large business transformation initiatives, preferably with SAP implementation. Strong knowledge of MedTech, Medical Devices, or Supply Chain operations is also required, along with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, and people management experience. Certifications like PMP or Lean/Six Sigma are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for shaping and influencing all Project Management Office related activities and team members.
  2. Reinforce PMO cadence, mechanics, and day-to-day program methodology across all workstreams.
  3. Partner closely with the overall deployment lead and deployment managers to ensure appropriate communication of key interdependencies, risks, and performance metrics.
  4. Ensure interdependencies across programs are identified and managed appropriately
  5. Active member of the global Portfolio and Program Management Office and share the responsibility of making the overall effort a success. You will bring in your thought leadership, holistic thinking, action orientation, creative problem solving, and listening skills.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs
