This role is for a highly technical Application Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) who will help customers develop technical expertise and capacity, collaborate on key engagements, deliver pilot projects, conduct workshops, and lead implementation projects. The role involves architecting scalable and highly available application solutions leveraging AWS services, optimizing applications for the cloud, and acting as a technical leader. Responsibilities include providing deep software development knowledge in cloud architecture, design patterns, and programming, advising on AWS best practices, and implementing DevOps practices like infrastructure as code, CI, and automated deployment. The role requires knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3) and experience implementing AWS services in distributed environments. Preferred qualifications include extensive IT implementation experience, expertise in cloud computing technologies, and experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.

Skills

Required

  • Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
