  4. Mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews, technical mentoring, and career development conversations, while contributing to hiring and training efforts
  5. Establish and improve service standards by collaborating with management and development teams to define service level agreements, metrics, monitoring procedures, and documentation

Required

  • 5+ years of software development or technical support experience
  • Experience in Unix
  • Experience scripting in modern program languages
  • Experience driving projects to improve support-related processes and technical support
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Knowledge of SQL, Linux, OLAP, and relational, NoSQL & multi-dimensional databases
  • Experience demonstrating software engineering skills
  • Experience in mentoring, leading, or managing more junior engineers
  • Experience performing complex business case analysis
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams
  • Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
  • Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing conflict, escalations, negotiating compromise, influencing others and problem solving with engineering teams
