This role supports the BILL Spend & Expense applications, acting as a point of contact for customer inquiries and issues during the application process. It involves collaborating with sales, risk, and underwriting teams to ensure applications are completed efficiently and compliantly, managing application pipelines, and resolving client concerns. The role requires problem-solving, attention to detail, and experience in financial services or regulated environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with prospects, sales representatives, and sales managers to ensure applications are completed, signed, and comply with our compliance and risk protocols.
  2. Resolve client concerns and deescalate frustrations related to the application process.
  3. Gather and compile all necessary prospect information to effectively represent them to risk and underwriting teams.
  4. Use discretion to address objections, deciding when to challenge internal teams versus requesting additional information from clients.
  5. Understand BILL’s underwriting methods and help determine the best fit for each applicant.

  • Experience in banking or loan processing.

  • Background in credit underwriting, KYC/KYB, payments, or risk in a regulated environment.
