What you'd actually do

  1. Build tools and applications to support various people strategies
  2. Work closely with business partners to understand business strategies while aligning product outcomes to create exceptional experiences using various technology
  3. Partner with Product Managers, Analysts, Data Engineers, and other Application Engineers to collaborate on exciting projects
  4. Leverage technical and business knowledge to identify opportunities for improvements.
  5. Support troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and deployment of applications to meet requirements, timelines, and execution standards

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 4+ years of industry experience in software development, ideally in HR-related applications
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript/Typescript (Node/Express), Python (FastAPI), HTML5, and CSS3, React
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright for ensuring code quality and reliability
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres, MYSQL, Cassandra and scripting knowledge on SQL/PLSQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
  • Strong foundation in computer science and engineering: algorithms, data structures, programming, databases, design patterns, virtualization, etc.
  • Experience in building large-scale microservices and applications using cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with remote team members across time zones
