Applied AI Architect, Public Sector

Anthropic Anthropic · AI Frontier · London, United Kingdom · Applied AI

Applied AI Architect role focused on pre-sales and technical advisory for public sector clients in UK and Northern Europe, helping them integrate and deploy Anthropic's Claude LLM. The role involves understanding customer requirements, architecting LLM solutions, guiding integration with existing systems, and developing evaluation frameworks, while adhering to public sector compliance and security guidelines.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with account executives to deeply understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment between departmental outcomes, policy objectives, and technical implementation.
  2. Serve as the primary technical advisor to public sector customers throughout their Claude adoption journey, from discovery to initial evaluation through deployment. You will need to coordinate internally across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive customer success.
  3. Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
  4. Create and deliver compelling technical content tailored to different audiences. You will need to span the gamut from technical deep dives for engineering and delivery teams up to business-value conversations with senior civil servants and C-suite executives (Permanent Secretaries, Directors General, SROs, CDIOs).
  5. Guide technical architecture decisions and help customers integrate Claude effectively into their existing technology stack, with alignment to NCSC guidelines, Cyber Essentials Plus, the Government Security Classifications framework, the Technology Code of Practice, and the Service Standard.
