Applied AI Engineer, Fullstack

Ramp Ramp · Fintech · New York, NY · Engineering

Ramp is seeking an Applied AI Engineer, Fullstack, to join their Financial Intelligence team. This role focuses on building customer-facing AI experiences, particularly for agentic financial analysis, FP&A, and book-close workflows. The engineer will own the end-to-end development, from React UI to APIs and data contracts, ensuring BI-tool-quality interfaces. The role emphasizes using AI coding models and agentic workflows in daily work and requires deep frontend expertise with comfort across the full stack.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and ship customer-facing AI experiences end to end, from React UI through to the APIs and data contracts behind them
  2. Build BI-tool-quality interfaces for agentic analysis, FP&A, and book-close workflows: fast, dense, interactive, and trustworthy
  3. Own complex client-side state and rendering challenges across data-heavy, real-time, agent-driven surfaces
  4. Partner on API and backend design so the full stack serves the product, not the other way around
  5. Use the latest coding models and agentic workflows as a core part of how you ship every day
