Applied AI Engineer (fullstack), AI Co-innovation

Cognite Cognite · Industrial · Norway · Strategic Projects

The role involves designing and building complex AI-powered solutions, including agentic systems and user-facing applications, for industrial digitalization. The engineer will own deployments end-to-end, working with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and full-stack development (React, TypeScript, Python, Kotlin). Experience with agent-based systems and customer-facing work is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build cross-stack solutions using Cognite Data Fusion and agentic frameworks to solve real customer problems
  2. Orchestrate integrations between AI components, Cognite data models, and existing customer systems using scalable engineering practices
  3. Architect and implement multi-agent systems that combine LLMs, tool use, evaluation loops, and reasoning over industrial data
  4. Collaborate with technical teams on-site to refine use cases and integrate solutions into production environments.
  5. Create lightweight but powerful interfaces that deliver value for executives and operators alike.
