This role is for an Applied Value Engineer on the Scale team at Celonis, a leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining. The role focuses on driving value, adoption, and customer success by building scalable engagement strategies, managing customer touchpoints, identifying expansion opportunities, and mitigating renewal risks. It involves collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure customers realize significant value from the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, which leverages advanced AI capabilities. The role is customer-facing and product-focused, aiming to ensure customers are utilizing the platform effectively to achieve their strategic goals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the trusted advisor to customers and partners, ensuring successful adoption and value realization across your portfolio.
  2. Support the development of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) by leveraging Celonis and partner resources to deliver self-paced, classroom, and on-the-job training.
  3. Build and maintain a structured governance model at both the account and portfolio level, ensuring alignment with customer goals.
  4. Manage critical 1:1 customer touchpoints, coordinating with partners as needed to resolve escalations and drive customer success.
  5. Monitor customer health through scalable strategies and provide regular check-ins to keep customers on the right track.

Skills

Required

  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • 3-5 years of strong execution focus for action and the ability to drive initiatives under ambiguity
  • Highly structured and programmatic thinking with the ability to execute complex projects efficiently
  • Ability to gain customer trust and drive success in limited touchpoints, delivering high impact
  • Solid technical skills with the ability to quickly problem-solve and support customers
  • Strong understanding of Celonis product innovations and the ability to introduce these innovations to customers
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to enable others through clear, effective presentations and guidance
  • Understanding of industry-specific business processes and a proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation is a plus.
