Celonis is seeking an Applied Value Engineer to drive customer value using their Process Intelligence Platform, which incorporates advanced AI capabilities. This role involves partnering with sales, guiding customers on value realization, and providing feedback to product development teams. The position requires a blend of process expertise, consulting skills, an AI-solution mindset, and analytical skills, focusing on enterprise SaaS and business process improvement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
  2. Support customers and partners in building business cases, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices in order to retain and scale customers, driving Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth
  3. Orchestrate Value Assessments and support in communicating value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
  4. Guide customers and partners on how to use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement
  5. Responsible for the customer value journey, driving expansion, adoption, and renewals

Skills

Required

  • Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and respective Software deployment
  • Good knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g. SAP), experience with implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows
  • Knowledge of Python and/or SQL
  • Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users/process owners to realize value
  • Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines
  • Experience in preparing and communicating (value) roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives (e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation)

Nice to have

  • Ideally in a customer-facing role in Customer Success, Sales Engineering or IT/Management Consulting with a Business Software / SaaS Provider or a Consultancy
  • Experience in collaborating with IT teams
  • You will manage multiple projects across your aligned accounts that will be at different parts of the value journey
  • Also, you will leverage partners from the Celonis Ecosystem wherever possible
