This role focuses on applying and integrating enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within software engineering workflows and architectural design at JPMorgan Chase. The architect will drive the adoption of AI-enabled patterns and guardrails across the SDLC, ensuring validation, security, and traceability. The role requires working knowledge of AI capabilities in areas like requirements interpretation, design support, code assistance, and evaluating AI-enabled features and architectural patterns.

What you'd actually do

  1. Applies enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis and design (e.g., option evaluation, trade-offs, and documentation), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
  2. Drives reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-enabled patterns and guardrails within the work environment across the product’s SDLC and engineering governance (e.g., design reviews, CI/CD quality gates, testing, and operational readiness), ensuring traceability and human-in-the-loop validation.
  3. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, evaluates design recommendations, and is accountable for ensuring that design constraints are met by software code development
  4. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
  5. Represents a product in architectural governance bodies
