What you'd actually do

  1. Executes architecture solutions and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down problems
  2. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring that design constraints are met by software code development
  3. Evaluates and provides feedback on technical architecture design recommendations
  4. Leveraging AI agents and skills to automate routine administrative tasks to position yourself for high value tasks
  5. Represents design in architectural governance bodies

Skills

Required

  • Formal training or certification on Architecture concepts
  • 5+ years applied experience in architecture
  • Define target and transitional architectures
  • set practical guardrails for resiliency
  • Strong knowledge of one or more software applications and architecture development
  • Ability to evaluate current technologies to recommend ways to optimize architecture
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficient in coding in Python
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Ensure HA/DR, observability (logs/metrics/traces), and capacity/performance considerations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Experience using AI/ML for automation.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms and hybrid architectures, including data governance and lineage
