What you'd actually do

  1. Develop maintenance technicians responsible for the reliability and performance of general warehouse assets and production equipment in an e-commerce fulfillment center.
  2. Lead preventative and reactive equipment repairs and handle high severity downtime events.
  3. Audit the quality of work and documentation of the team and evaluate areas to improve.
  4. Lead continuous improvement projects that target key performance indicators such as injury rates, equipment uptime, mean time to repair, and system capacity.
  5. Use data to measure and lead the performance of your team.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience running a maintenance or operations team in a warehouse or factory
  • Experience working with material handling equipment such as conveyors and powered industrial trucks
  • Experience using information systems and data to measure and improve key performance indicators
  • Ability to simultaneously support multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Ability to travel as needed
