This role is for an Area Mechanic responsible for the installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, including hydraulic components, electric motors, and printers. The position focuses on ensuring maximum machine utilization and minimum non-production time, requiring the ability to read and interpret technical documentation, use process controller programmer systems, and maintain accurate records via computer management systems. The role also involves participating in continuous improvement programs and adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. performs complete maintenance support including but not limited to installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, adjustments, repair, preventive and emergency maintenance as well as continuous improvement.
  2. Mechanics are expected to work on all equipment, such as hydraulic components, electric motors, printers, etc.
  3. Mechanics are responsible for recording and maintenance of all critical data and documentation.
  4. This position focuses on continuous improvement and maximum efficiency from the machinery, ensuring maximum machine utilization, and minimum departmental non-production time.
  5. Under general supervision and in accordance to prescribed procedures and requirements
