This role is for an Area Project Controls Manager at Crusoe, an AI infrastructure company. What you'd actually do

  1. Provide area-level leadership across multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring alignment to program goals, budgets, and schedules
  2. Drive standardization, consistency, and best practices across cost management, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting
  3. Lead and manage a team of cost managers responsible for: - Monthly cost reporting - Cash flow forecasting - Change and risk management - Pay application review - Client billing submissions
  4. Assess overall cost and schedule health across an area or program, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities early
  5. Develop and communicate clear, actionable financial and schedule insights to senior leadership and Crusoe clients

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in Project Controls and Construction Cost Management
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with area- or program-level accountability
  • Proven leadership of program- or area-wide initiatives focused on standardization and continuous improvement
  • Advanced financial and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate cost and schedule performance holistically
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and clients
  • Experience leading teams and managing external vendors delivering cost and scheduling services
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, large-scale construction environments
