Okta is seeking an experienced Area Sales Director for their India Sales team to drive growth within existing customers and acquire new strategic clients. This senior leadership role focuses on managing a team of Enterprise/Strategic Account Executives, developing Go-to-Market strategies, and ensuring predictable revenue growth through upsell, cross-sell, and new logo acquisition, supported by a partner-first approach. The role requires strong leadership, business planning, and sales methodology expertise, with a focus on complex B2B SaaS sales cycles and building executive relationships.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ideate, build and execute a Go to Market strategy in in your assigned sales segment across India
  2. Lead and manage your Enterprise / Strategic Sales team in India, overseeing day-to-day operations, performance, and development.
  3. Drive growth within existing Enterprise and Strategic accounts, with clear strategies for upsell, cross-sell, and multi-year expansion.
  4. Coach and mentor your team to land new strategic logos by building executive relationships, driving differentiated value, and shaping long-term digital transformation roadmaps with customers.
  5. Engage key SIs, partners, cloud providers and distributors for joint business planning, demand creation, opportunity execution and scale, aligned to our partner-first GTM.
