Area Sales Manager (leesburg, Sterling, Tyson’s, and Fairfax)

This role is for an Area Sales Manager in Capital One Auto Finance. The primary focus is on partnering with automobile dealerships to provide consultative guidance, drive adoption of lead-generation products and lending solutions, and manage dealer relationships. Responsibilities include product presentation, dealer training, performance monitoring, and achieving sales objectives. The role requires strong relationship-building, consulting, and closing skills, with experience in financial services or B2B sales preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish trusted relationships with key decisions makers at each dealer location
  2. Maintain and grow Capital One Auto Finance’s leading position as a national full credit spectrum auto lender
  3. Be a product expert across our digital lead-generation platform and provide solutions that help dealers achieve their sales objectives
  4. Confidently deliver sales presentations and facilitate dealer training to drive product adoption
  5. Create and execute a monthly plan of dealer engagement based on careful analysis of available data and sales metrics

Skills

Required

  • At least 1 year of financial services experience or business to business sales
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ year of experience representing lead-provider products and solutions
  • 1+ year of experience in the automotive financing or advertising media industries
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management systems
