Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Area Vice President for EP Sales (South Atlantic) to manage sales and clinical personnel, drive sales growth, meet targets, develop sales plans, coach and manage direct reports, and implement commercial strategies in the medical device industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive top line sales results in the Area of the US Sales & Field Service group, in line with the Business Plan- including defining and managing the monthly and annual sales objectives for all the sales and clinical personnel.
  2. Meet and exceed sales and profit targets for the Area of the US Sales & Field Service organization.
  3. Provide accurate sales forecasts and develops and executes tactical sales plans including quotas and account objective and managing expense budget
  4. Coach and manage (directly) the performance and competency development of direct reports. Lead and develop Regional Business Directors to ensure they coach and manage the performance of their direct reports.
  5. Develop and implement Company's commercial, field training and product and services marketing strategies and tactics through the field organization under his/her responsibility.

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10 years professional work experience
  • 3 years of Sales Management experience in the US medical device industry
  • Sales management, processes and planning experience
  • Strong customer focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective project management
  • Problem-solving abilities

Nice to have

  • MBA
  • 2 years business experience in the Cardiac Electrophysiology or Cardiovascular field
  • People management experience managing multi-functional teams
