What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end creative production for campaigns across onsite banners, storefront displays, promotional assets, email, and push notifications
  2. Translate seasonal and cultural moments (梅雨, 衣替え, お中元, etc.) into compelling visual narratives at pace
  3. Design and adapt assets across multiple store formats and placements, maintaining visual consistency while tailoring to local context
  4. Create multi-product compositions that tell a merchandising story
  5. Develop motion graphics and lightweight animations to elevate campaign assets

Skills

Required

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-volume campaign production with fast turnarounds
  • Ability to flex between formats (static, motion, email, social) while keeping a cohesive visual thread
  • Deep understanding of Japanese visual culture, seasonal sensibilities, and consumer aesthetics
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
