What you'd actually do

  1. perform competitive analysis and establishing the players, specs of chips and IP for Ethernet SERDES, PCIe, UCIe, LPDDR, DDR, HBM PHYs and controllers.
  2. build a roadmap and layout the strategy including both internal and external teams.
  3. understand where the competition is on each of the IPs.
  4. plan out what information gather, analysis information gathered, present the information gathered in an easy-to-understand power-point or report to the rest of the team.
  5. understand the needs and details.

Skills

Required

  • Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree or related
  • Business degree (MBA)
  • 10+ years of experience in business development roles
  • 25+ years working experience in semiconductor companies
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor chips, ASICs, foundries from a business angle
  • Contacts in the Bay area chip companies
  • Data collection and extraction from datasheets and press releases
  • Data compilation using AI, report generation, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Marketing research
  • Semiconductor Foundry business knowledge
  • Knowledge of SOCs for datacom, Telecom and high-performance computing
  • Knowledge of SERDES/PHY IPs for Ethernet, PCIe, UCIe, LPDDR, DDR, HBM

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of SERDES (Serializer/Deserializer), and Analog space
  • Willing to attending tradeshows, expos, conferences
