What you'd actually do

  1. Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  2. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
  3. Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  4. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  5. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or GED
  • minimum of 4 years of additional relevant experience in assembly, manufacturing or production
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to lift and move objects, up to 30lbs, from one location to another
  • The ability to walk, stand, sit, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and reach is required
  • Use of both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions is required

Nice to have

  • Work experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, including wire harness
  • IPC 610/610 Workmanship Certification
  • J-STD-001 Certification
  • Familiar with AS9100D/ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Ability to read/understand blueprints/3D models
