This role is for an Assembler at Caterpillar's Qingzhou, Shandong facility. The primary responsibilities include strictly adhering to standardized operating procedures, completing assembly tasks according to production plans and processes within specified timeframes, and ensuring safety compliance. The role also involves self-inspection of work, proper operation and maintenance of equipment, reporting any safety, quality, speed, or cost issues, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a technical secondary school education or equivalent, good safety and quality awareness, strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and a good understanding of 5S and TPM principles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Strictly adhere to standardized operating procedures.
  2. Complete various assembly operations according to the production plan and assembly process flow within the specified time.
  3. Strictly implement the PPE wearing regulations for the position and strictly abide by all safety regulations to avoid safety accidents.
  4. Quickly learn the operations of the whole machine and its production process.
  5. Perform self-inspection of the assembly process and results as required, and complete various records accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills

Required

  • Vocational or equivalent and above education, manufacturing-related major
  • Good safety and quality awareness, strict adherence to regulations and procedures
  • Good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility and team spirit
  • Good understanding of 5S and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concepts
