Assembler responsible for manufacturing functions, performing repetitive processes using machines and hand tools to complete the assembly of component parts into finished products. Tasks include hand assembly, pressing, plating, brazing, cleaning, and visual inspection of parts. Requires basic knowledge of tooling and ability to read mechanical drawings.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform a variety of repetitive processes using varied machines and/or hand tools to complete the assembly and/or sub-assemble of component parts to achieve a finished coupling assemble.
  2. Maybe to assigned to various hand assembly, pressing, plating, brazing and/or cleaning of competent parts.
  3. Visually inspect parts as processed.
  4. Identify tooling and equipment necessary to perform assigned operation
  5. Perform various assembly or sub-assembly processes following standard work

Skills

Required

  • Secondary to Diploma level up in any filed.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of tooling such as micrometers, torque
  • Basic read mechanic drawing
  • Ability to work several shifts
