Assembler role at Caterpillar responsible for performing assembly, testing, diagnostics, rework, and repair tasks on a product line. Requires adherence to safety and quality standards, proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean work area (5S and TPM). Also involves cost saving and following company regulations. Requires a vocational degree or above in mechanical engineering, basic understanding of mechanical drawings and technical requirements, good safety and quality awareness, familiarity with 5S and TPM concepts, basic English reading ability for assembly terms, basic computer skills, and at least six months of assembly experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. 按照需要执行某个产品线的任意工位的装配任务，包括装配、测试、诊断、返工、维修生产线上的产品。
  2. 严格执行岗位PPE的穿戴规定，严格遵守各项安全规定避免安全伤害事故的发生。积极参与发现生产过程中存在的问题和风险，积极提交持续改进建议。
  3. 按照作业指导书和装配图纸的要求进行产品零部件的装配工作，确保装配质量符合标准。严格执行标准化工作流程及其他各项质量管理规定，避免质量缺陷的发生。严格按照计划实施生产、努力提高工作效率。
  4. 正确使用装配工具和设备，定期进行维护和保养，如发现设备故障及时报告。
  5. 对自己装配的产品进行自检，及时发现并纠正装配过程中的质量问题，如零件安装错误，装配间隙不符合要求等。积极配合质量管理人员分析发生质量问题的根本原因并按要求执行改进措施，避免类似问题再次发生。

Required

  • Vocational degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand general technical requirements (e.g., tolerance fits)
  • Good safety and quality awareness
  • Adherence to regulations and procedures
  • Familiarity with 5S and TPM concepts
  • Basic English reading ability for assembly terms
  • Basic computer operation skills
  • At least six months of assembly experience
