Assembly Lead

This role is for an Assembly Lead at Crusoe, an AI infrastructure company. The lead will oversee a team responsible for the final assembly, packaging, and shipment of manufactured products and components, ensuring quality and production flow. Responsibilities include team leadership, electro-mechanical assembly oversight, material verification, process improvement, and coordination with other departments. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team in a hands-on, production-focused environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, train, and coach your assembly crew, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  2. Oversee a team of technicians performing electro-mechanical assembly of medium and low voltage switchgear, including frame assembly, copper bussing, and circuit breakers.
  3. Spearhead the material handling and installation of switchgear and mechanical equipment within the building integration process, as well as performing seam caulking and comprehensive preparations to ensure every unit meets safety standards and is ready for shipment.
  4. Meticulously review work orders to confirm the availability and accuracy of all required materials, including hardware, components, and in-house parts.
  5. Oversee the review and proper installation of company logos, labeling, NEMA Ratings, and UL information on all finished products.
