What you'd actually do

  2. Assist in tracing and documenting data sources, lineage, and ETL/ELT flows.
  3. Help identify and document System-of-Record (SOR) dependencies to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
  4. Collaborate in designing and documenting secure, scalable data architectures and repeatable processes for client content production.
  5. Contribute to the development and execution of data strategies that enhance client reporting solutions.

Skills

Required

  • Experience working with data in a financial services or asset management environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx) for validation, mapping, and insights
  • Solid analytical and reasoning abilities
  • Ability to apply mathematical and statistical methods to analyze and validate data for client deliverables

Nice to have

  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Ability to present data findings and requirements to technical and business stakeholders
  • Exposure to creating data taxonomies, data dictionaries, or data governance models
  • Understanding of APIs and data product management
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related data field
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA/CAIA, AWS, Snowflake, or Python
