Associate Product Owner for JPMorgan Private Equity Group to lead execution of digital solutions and operating models, support Portfolio Managers with data-driven client presentations and task automation, and partner with investment teams, operations, and technology to translate business needs into product requirements and deliver initiatives. Responsibilities include leading Agile methods, managing product backlogs, supporting the technology platform, leading product discoveries, developing prototypes, automating client deliverables, driving design thinking, supporting vendor management, providing enhanced analytics, leading junior product managers, driving human-centered design and Agile methodologies, leading cloud-based architecture and full-stack development, participating in digital product scaling, performing QA, defining KPIs, and supporting product operations and APIs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead execution of digital solutions and operating models that enhance PEG's investment, diligence, portfolio monitoring, and reporting processes.
  2. Support Portfolio Managers (PMs) in client facing roles by utilizing data to streamline client presentations and ad hoc requests as well as automate recurring tasks.
  3. Partner closely with investment teams, operations, and technology to translate business needs into actionable product requirements and support delivery of high‑impact initiatives.
  4. Lead Agile methods such as sprint planning, grooming, estimation and retrospective and co-manage complex product backlogs
  5. Support the development, execution, and steady-state maintenance of PEG's technology platform

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in private equity, consulting, product management, or digital transformation
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience with workflow mapping, requirements gathering, and agile delivery practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in business (MBA) with specialization in Finance, Strategy and Change Management.
  • Familiarity with private equity deal processes, fund structures, and investor reporting
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, CRM systems, or deal management tools
  • Exposure to AI/ML applications or document‑intelligence technologies
