Lead the digital strategy, design, development, and implementation of digital solutions and operating models for a Private Equity Group, enhancing investment, diligence, portfolio monitoring, and reporting processes. Support Portfolio Managers with data-driven client presentations and task automation. Partner with investment teams, operations, and technology to translate business needs into product requirements and deliver high-impact initiatives. Responsibilities include managing the technology platform, leading product discoveries, facilitating client reporting, developing prototypes, automating deliverables, driving design thinking, providing enhanced analytics, managing backlogs and roadmaps, implementing HCI and Agile methodologies, leading cloud architecture and full-stack development, and scaling cloud-based products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development, execution and steady-state maintenance of PEG’s technology platform
  2. Manage the day-to-day activities for core product design through leading product discoveries, establishing product discovery and design frameworks, defining the core product discovery process and recruiting business users for conducting user interviews
  3. Facilitate dynamic client reporting using data maintained across PEG’s investment platform
  4. Develop high fidelity prototypes and perform technical and business viability of prototypes and ensure compliance with firm-wide user experience standards for PEG technology products across geographies
  5. Automate recurring client deliverables such as monthly cash flow and quarterly valuation reconciliations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Business (MBA) with specialization in Finance, Strategy and Change Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in private equity, consulting, product management, or digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with workflow mapping, requirements gathering, and agile delivery practices
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with private equity deal processes, fund structures, and investor reporting
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, CRM systems, or deal management tools
