What you'd actually do

  1. Support total sales, guest service and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock and available to our guests by preventing and resolving theft.
  2. Resolve theft by using good judgement and conducting apprehensions in shortage focus areas while strictly adhering to AP policies and procedures.
  3. Identify theft trends by leveraging technology, reporting and surveillance tactics.
  4. Prevent theft by gathering intelligence and communicating important issues.
  5. Understand and appropriately use video systems to monitor theft activity.

Skills

Required

  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Effective communication skills
