What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Account to Report (A2R) areas.
  2. Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
  3. Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
  4. Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
  5. Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's level degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related business discipline
  • At least 8 - 10 years of professional experience
  • At least 2-3 years of Management / Supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Ability to frame clear & concise communication
  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Fluent English

Nice to have

  • ACA, ICWA, CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications
  • Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a multinational company
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
