What you'd actually do

  1. Support domestic and international tax planning initiatives within the Tax Organization, including (i) performing technical analysis, (ii) preparing tax planning presentations, (iii) modeling the tax impacts and supporting the implementation of tax planning initiatives, (iv) drafting intercompany agreements, and (v) working with tax operations on the accounting and reporting implications of tax planning initiatives.
  2. Manage tax due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors, review and determine optimal structure for various business development transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and collaborations, working with the BD group and internal and external legal representatives, advise on tax matters related to integration activities, including coordination with the broader Finance department and the Integration Management Office, and provide support for the preparation and review of legal documents related to business development and integration transactions.
  3. Coordinate with Accounting on the accounting impacts of mergers and acquisitions and internal tax planning initiatives.
  4. Provide tax support for deal valuations and financial analyses, supply chain financial flows, and Treasury decisions regarding transaction financing and intercompany cash management.

What the JD emphasized
