Associate Account Manager

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Madrid, Spain · Buying, Planning, & Instock Management

Associate Account Manager (Brand Specialist) at Amazon responsible for owning the relationship with brands, developing short- and long-term strategies for growth and customer satisfaction. This involves using data-driven insights to build customer-centric strategies, providing guidance on selection, promotions, and growth, and monitoring success metrics. The role also involves working with internal stakeholders like Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to implement new ideas and processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze business performance, identify trends, and translate data into actionable insights to improve overall business performance. Leverage these insights to build strategic, customer-centric recommendations using Amazon programs (e.g., Amazon Freight) to drive long-term benefits.
  2. Drive local and EU supply-chain operational excellence initiatives by reducing costs, defects, lead times, and by managing stock in our Fulfilment Centre.
  3. Provide recommendations for the brand’s marketing and advertising campaigns to promote new products, increase traffic, and improve conversion. Plan, implement and manage promotional activities for Amazon events such as Prime Day where you will help your brands generate sales. On top of that, you will drive brand campaigns with your vendors and work closely with Amazon Advertising to explore further marketing opportunities we have.
  4. Help grow selection by managing the launch of new products and improving discoverability. You will identify product gaps, onboard the new products and be responsible for the ramp up of these products, as well as improve the end-customer experience on Amazon (i.e.: performing Walk The Store session, competitor benchmarking, create enhanced content on detail pages).
