Associate Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (certification and Safety)

Associate Airplane Systems Integration Engineer focused on certification and safety for the 777X program. Responsibilities include coordinating technical information, supporting certification activities, understanding regulations (FAA & EASA), and facilitating integration meetings.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with organizations such as Systems, Propulsion, Interiors, Avionics, Structures, Reg Admin (Boeing Certification Office), and ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) to coordinate/communicate technical information, processes, and strategies supporting airplane level certification and safety efforts
  2. Utilize feedback and lessons learned from systems teams to contribute to improvements on product development process.
  3. Partner with systems IPTs to support them in completing certification and safety activities within the specified program schedule and help resolve issues/roadblocks as they arise.
  4. Ability to find and understand Boeing processes, FAA & EASA regulations, and certification methods of compliance (Part 21 and Part 25).
  5. Facilitate various integration meetings (Readiness reviews, ALIT/ Reg Admin, and Program requests, host System team meetings for communications and data collection).

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA) registration or eligibility
  • English language proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Experience with airplane systems
  • Experience with ARP 4754 process

Nice to have

  • Certification and/or Engineering Change Approval training
  • Experience with ARP 4761
  • Experience with DO-160
  • Knowledge of FAA/EASA/ANAC regulations (Part 21 and Part 25)
  • Liaison and integration skills

What the JD emphasized

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
  • Relevant experience in any airplane systems
  • Relevant experience with ARP 4754 process
  • FAA/EASA/ANAC regulation (Part 21 and Part 25)
