Associate Asic And/or Fpga Design and Verification Engineer

Boeing Boeing · Aerospace · El Segundo, CA +2

Associate ASIC and/or FPGA Design and Verification Engineer role at Boeing, focusing on developing digital ICs/SoCs for space, intelligence, and weapons systems. Responsibilities include design implementation, HDL coding, physical design, integration, and verification using SystemVerilog and UVM.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop FPGA/ASIC designs supporting design and/or verification teams
  2. Implement FPGA/ASIC with latest design practices and tools from block-level micro-architecture, through HDL coding, and physical design realization (through gate-level netlists for ASIC designs)
  3. Integrate DSP IP from Boeing’s algorithm team and third-party IP as needed
  4. Perform static timing analysis, LEC, CDC, linting, and other necessary checks to ensure the design is completed on schedule
  5. Develop Functional Coverage Models and perform Code Coverage to verify designs in simulation
