Associate Av Engineer - Westlake

This role is for an Associate AV Engineer who will provide technical customer service and support for audio-visual and technology solutions in Deloitte's Greenhouse labs. Responsibilities include setting up, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV equipment and systems, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with technology guides and team trainings. The role requires strong technical skills in AV and IT systems, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide white-glove technology customer service and advanced technical support for all Greenhouse labs, both in-person and virtually (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex), ensuring a seamless client experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  2. Coordinate with lab teams to plan, set up, test, and support audio-visual (AV) and technology solutions for Greenhouse labs, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Crestron processors, NVX systems, DM switchers, Biamp DSPs, AV network infrastructure, and USB extenders, and collaboration software.
  3. Monitor the status and performance of all rooms and AV systems, proactively addressing equipment issues and ensuring optimal functionality.
  4. Coordinate inventory management, quality control, packing, shipping, and maintenance of all AV equipment and mobile technologies.
  5. Schedule and communicate with AV vendors for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.

Skills

Required

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of various technology experience: with technologies including, but not limited to, networking, Windows, Apple IOS, Crestron systems, Smart Displays, and/or other in-room technologies combined with advanced troubleshooting of AV and/or IT systems and technologies including touch displays, iOS devices, Mac, and Windows PCs.
  • Onsite at Westlake, TX Deloitte office with ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends as needed
