This role is for an Associate Clinical Consultant/Clinical Consultant in the MedTech Sales division, focusing on the Impella product portfolio for cardiovascular health. The position involves educating physicians and hospital staff, advising on patient selection, training, attending implants, and collaborating with the sales team to improve patient outcomes. It requires clinical or sales experience in the cardiovascular space and involves travel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Improve patient outcomes through education and medical staff interaction, including clinical demos and ongoing training for new and existing accounts.
  2. Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews with customers and communicate activities with other team members and sales counterparts.
  3. Acquire and demonstrate a working knowledge of our products/therapies and develop an extensive understanding of all their applications.
  4. Attend implants and consult physicians and medical staff on appropriate use and applications Utilizes Integrity Selling to change the standard of care and drive usage of Impella with physicians.
  5. Ability to set up 1:1 physician meetings/conversations, host physician and staff dinner programs with strong attendance and content.

Skills

  • RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support experience
  • Commercial sales experience in cardiovascular space
  • Ability to advance sales process
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Experience delivering demonstrations and successful trainings
  • Knowledge of medical device industry regulations

What the JD emphasized

  • 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab or Cardiovascular OR experience.
  • 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies utilized in the cardiovascular space. (Clinical Consultant requirement)
  • Ability to advance sales process with customers required
  • Ability to work in a team environment required
  • Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.
