This role is for an Associate Clinical Consultant in the MedTech Sales division at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on cardiovascular products. The responsibilities include patient care through training and advising medical staff, supporting clinics using specific products, reporting clinical data, conducting training to improve customer utilization and performance, and coordinating clinical demonstrations. The role requires a clinical or clinical-technical education, experience in patient care settings, strong communication and presentation skills, and a high willingness to travel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Patient care: Improvement of patient outcomes through professional training and advice to medical staff.
  2. Support of all clinics in the region where patients are treated with Impella® products.
  3. Reporting of clinically relevant data, documentation of results and close collaboration with our team members and sales colleagues.
  4. Clinical consulting: Conducting training to increase the clinical utilization and performance of our customers. Managing training for our new and existing customers.
  5. Training/clinical demos: Support in coordinating on-site clinical demos.

Skills

Required

  • Successful completion of clinical or clinical-technical training, ideally as a registered nurse or clinical technician / clinical perfusionist.
  • Several years of professional experience in direct patient care in intensive care or nursing wards, in the OR or in the Cath Lab.
  • Convincing demeanor and the ability to develop and foster long-term customer relationships.
  • Good communication and presentation skills as well as teamwork.
  • High flexibility and 80% willingness to travel within the specified regions as well as readiness for emergency situations.
