Associate Creative Director, Design at Whatnot, a livestream shopping platform. This role focuses on building the brand and creating best-in-class creative for physical and digital experiences, including events. The individual will lead strategy, development, and execution of campaigns, translating category energy into on-platform events and in-person activations. Requires strong conceptual design skills, ability to build identity systems, and hands-on execution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate closely with category and marketing teams to develop and execute campaign strategies and design directions that support our business goals and objectives and define how Whatnot shows up across digital and physical touchpoints.
  2. Oversee end-to-end processes, from initial concepts to final handoff, to deliver work that drives loyalty and engagement and maintains a high bar for craft.
  3. Manage and mentor a team of designers providing guidance and feedback to foster a collaborative environment of creative excellence.
  4. Lead brainstorming and ideation sessions, generate new ideas and concepts for event campaigns, and develop creative briefs that inspire the team to deliver outstanding work.
  5. Stay ahead of trends, emerging platforms, and creative best practices to keep our events fresh, effective, and culturally resonant.
