Associate Data Cloud Business Transformation Architect

This role focuses on implementing and configuring Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud for customer relationship management and marketing automation. It involves data ingestion, identity resolution, audience segmentation, and cross-channel activation, primarily using Salesforce's ecosystem tools. While Generative AI is mentioned, the core responsibilities are centered around data integration and marketing technology implementation rather than direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading implementations of Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, including technical requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and activation
  2. Partnering with client marketing, Information Technology, and data teams to define data models, identity resolution strategies, and activation use cases aligned to business goals
  3. Designing and building data ingestion pipelines, segmentation logic, and audience activation workflows across channels within Salesforce Data Cloud
  4. Developing technical solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud using structured query language, HyperText Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript, and AMPscript
  5. Troubleshooting and optimizing Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud integrations, while supporting client enablement and knowledge transfer following go-live

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, data mapping, and identity resolution
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem platforms, including Marketing Cloud Personalization, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, or Marketing Cloud Intelligence
  • 2+ years of experience developing structured query language with a relational database management system such as MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certifications
  • Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data governance
  • Experience developing solutions with HyperText Markup Language, Extensible Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets, and JavaScript
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification
