Associate Director, AI Capabilities Execution

The Associate Director, AI Capabilities Execution will be responsible for shaping, executing, and embedding a multi-year capability roadmap strategically aligned to business priorities within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division. This role focuses on enhancing current tactics, implementing and executing with impact, and managing vendors and cross-functional teams to accelerate the adoption of AI and ML capabilities across commercial pharmaceutical business, medical engagements, and patient support services. The goal is to maximize return on investment and revolutionize customer experience through AI, data, analytics, and technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive current and future AI capabilities to enhance omnichannel orchestration capabilities across J&J NA Pharm in close collaboration with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, media, data, and analytics.
  2. Drive execution, implementation, and delivery of the multi-year Engagement.AI Digital roadmap to scale integration of AI capabilities into both owned and paid digital media channels.
  3. Lead ongoing business impact analysis and ensure implementation of appropriate cost-benefit and ROI analysis of capabilities.
  4. Develop and implement change management strategies by collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with organizational goals and objectives, including defining scope, assessing risks and impacts, and creating detailed change plans.
  5. Implement program management and governance for capabilities and execution through coordination with commercial leadership, including national sales directors, directors of marketing, vice presidents, and other key steering committee members.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial health care or commercial pharmaceutical operations and execution.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media activation or omnichannel orchestration with a strong understanding of the digital media landscape.
  • Strong expertise in program governance, change management, and establishing and embedding data, analytics, and technology capabilities within commercial pharma and/or health care operations.
  • Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing others with and/or without authority.
  • Proven expertise in problem solving and critical thinking, with a strong understanding of Agile methods.
  • Proven track record in project and program management, governance, and change management methodologies.
  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in a highly matrixed environme
