Associate Director, AI Next Frontiers for Patient Engagements at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. This role leads the AI transformation and execution roadmap for patient support services, focusing on elevating patient solutions and experience through strategic AI application for fulfillment and adherence. Responsibilities include product ownership of AI/ML solutions, stakeholder management, compliance, identifying patient journey problems, evaluating data sets and methodologies, determining solution impact via measurement frameworks and A/B testing, and advocating for AI adoption.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead day-to-day relationships and projects with leadership across PECS (Patient experience & customer solutions), brand sales and marketing, Media, Advanced Analytics, Data Science & Engineering, and IT, among others, to shape and evolve the patient solution roadmap.
  2. Be the end to end product owner and single point-of-contact for AI/ML solutions supporting patient support services (including Patient Engagement.AI) for the chosen TA.
  3. Lead the partnership with HCC, privacy, and legal to ensure that compliance and appropriate patient confidentiality is at the core of all solutions.
  4. Lead identification and quantification of the most significant problems across the entire patient journey to support where/when/how to best intervene in helping patients start and stay on therapy.
  5. Lead the ongoing 'use case centric' evaluation of data sets and methodologies to improve predictive capabilities.

Skills

Required

  • 8 years of relevant business experience in healthcare, analytics, data science, marketing, management consulting or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • handling budget responsibility of over $2M annually
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment
  • integrating and analyzing healthcare claims, electronic health records, lab results, specialty pharmacy, SDOH/consumer, and patient hub data

Nice to have

  • Master degree
  • Hands-on experience in predictive analytics and machine learning techniques (e.g. supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their real-world applications
  • Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot etc.) in their daily workflows
  • Demonstrated experience in driving adoption and sustained usage of AI solutions in field
  • Outstanding employee coaching skills and demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion to learn new things and adaptability to shifting timelines and priorities
