This role leads pharmacovigilance (PV) strategy with alliance partnerships for Global Patient Safety (GPS). It involves evaluating business deals for safety operational risks and planning for PV system integration of acquisitions/divestitures, defining strategy, performing due diligence, leading negotiations, and ensuring compliance with GVP regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define strategy for alliance partnerships as it relates to pharmacovigilance
  2. Perform Due Diligence assessment for operational aspects for pharmacovigilance
  3. Lead negotiations in alignment with strategies for acquisition, divestures, co-development/promotion, clinical collaboration, distribution and promotion, and other agreement types
  4. Transfer the agreed upon elements to operations team for inclusion in PVA
  5. Author and review PVA and associated documents, as required

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, and/or legal fields or equivalent experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Business Development and/or Clinical Development
  • Experience with contracts/agreements and negotiation
  • Alliance and vendor management
  • Cross-functional project management
