Associate Director, Market Access Analytics and Real World Evidence (MAA & RWE) – Indirect Treatment Comparisons. This role designs and delivers market access analytics, supports evidence generation, and aids in analyses for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and payer submissions. Responsibilities include leading the design and execution of indirect treatment comparisons, observational studies, and comparative effectiveness analyses, providing statistical methodology guidance, leading evidence-generation workstreams, applying advanced statistical methods, and partnering across internal functions and external partners.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the design and execution of indirect treatment comparisons (e.g., MAIC, STC, NMA, ML-NMR), observational studies, and comparative effectiveness analyses.
  2. Provide expert guidance on statistical methodologies and programming approaches to address key research questions in collaboration with therapeutic area experts.
  3. Lead end-to-end delivery of evidence-generation workstreams, including systematic literature reviews, feasibility assessments, protocol development, statistical analysis plans, and technical reports/publications.
  4. Apply advanced statistical methods such as regression modeling, mixed-effects models, survival analysis, propensity score methods, and non-parametric techniques in accordance with study protocols.
  5. Partner across internal functions (e.g., Global Market Access, R&D, Medical Affairs, Health Economics Modeling, Epidemiology) to develop evidence generation strategies that optimize HTA outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Statistical programming (R, SAS)
  • Design and apply statistical methods for comparative effectiveness research
  • Analyze diverse data sources (clinical trial data, systematic literature reviews, administrative claims, EHRs, clinical registries)
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in biostatistics, mathematics, computational sciences, economics, public health, health administration, or operations research
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience (or 4+ years with a doctoral degree)
