Associate Director (m/f/d) Physician Programs - Germany South

This role is for an Associate Director of Physician Programs in Germany South, focusing on MedTech sales within the Cardiovascular division of Johnson & Johnson. The primary responsibilities include developing and executing market development strategies, building relationships with key opinion leaders and societies, and driving therapy growth and adoption for Abiomed's Impella therapies. The role requires extensive travel and strong understanding of healthcare policy and reimbursement systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement a market development strategy to drive therapy growth and adoption
  2. Identify and analyze market opportunities to expand the company's presence and reach. (Existing & new indications, Key account segmentation)
  3. Develop programs and networks of care at Focus accounts, optimizing patient pathways and service improvement initiatives
  4. Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders & Societies to enhance the company's reputation and influence.
  5. Support KOL, Clinical & Non-clinical engagement plans, partnerships, and collaboration opportunities

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS required
  • 7+ years of related industry sales & market/therapy development experience
  • Mastery of cardiac anatomy and clinical data, ideally combined with medical device background
  • Prior KOL management experience or existing relationships in geographic area
  • Must be able to travel overnight extensively (70% depending on geography)
  • Strong understanding of regional health care policy and payment systems, including hospital and physician reimbursement.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, experienced developing relationships at all organizational levels to influence business objectives.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with intricate planning and strong tactical execution.
  • Demonstrates responsiveness and a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
