Associate Director Marketing for the DACH Region at Johnson & Johnson's Shockwave Medical, responsible for driving commercial success and sustainable growth of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) products. This role involves shaping and executing regional marketing strategies, leading product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with external stakeholders in the MedTech industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Shape and drive the DACH marketing strategy in alignment with global priorities and local market needs.
  2. Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies across the product lifecycle, from launch readiness to mature portfolio optimization.
  3. Lead and coordinate regional product launches across all DACH markets.
  4. Partner with market access, health economics, and reimbursement teams to support access strategies and value communication.
  5. Build strong partnerships with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Marketing.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 8–10+ years of marketing experience within the medical device, MedTech, or healthcare industry
  • responsibility for regional or multi-country initiatives
  • Proven experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product launches in complex healthcare environments
  • Strong understanding of DACH healthcare systems and reimbursement landscapes
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • ability to partner effectively across functions, countries, and geographies in a matrix organization
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data and insights into clear strategic direction
  • Fluency in English and German required
