This role is for an Associate Director of Marketing focused on the HPV Adolescent HCP segment at Merck. The position involves developing and executing marketing strategies, conducting customer research, implementing digital marketing campaigns, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, and tracking performance. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory guidelines. The role is primarily product-focused within the healthcare domain and does not involve AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute marketing strategies: Own Adolescent HCP Strategy for the US HPV franchise, including insights, strategic priorities, target-setting and short- and long-term plans. Recommend Adolescent HCP strategic priorities (in collaboration with MPO, to USCL and G9 LT).
  2. Customer research and insights: Define and set market research objectives and data analyses needs while working with cross-functional teams to identify customer and market trends and insights. Utilize these insights to inform marketing strategies and drive customer engagement.
  3. Digital marketing: Develop and implement with cross-functional team the digital marketing strategies to engage and educate HCPs, utilizing various digital channels such as social media, email marketing, and content marketing to reach and engage the target audience.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, market research, analytics, and digital engagement, to align marketing efforts with business objectives. Ensure the sales team is informed, engaged, and motivated to support execution. Partner with the promotion review team to seek guidance and secure approval for marketing content.
  5. Collaborate with agencies and other external support teams: Work closely with a wide range of agencies and partners to help build insights, develop and test different concepts with the plan of executing go-to-market strategies.
