Associate/Electrical Design Engineer for the Sentinel program, responsible for planning and designing cable routes, performing circuit design and analysis, developing interconnect drawings, and coordinating with various teams. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance and SAP approval.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan and design cable routes around facilities, cabinet racks, and LRUs.
  2. Conduct LRU interface research, process documents, and collaborate with other engineers to determine the best design for each set of cables.
  3. Perform circuit design and analysis, such as overall power analysis for component and rack-level systems, line loss analysis, and bent pin analysis.
  4. Develop interconnect drawings in Capital.
  5. Develop Product Definition Packages (PDPs) and take them through the full review and release process in CPLM.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • US citizen
  • Ability to obtain active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval

Nice to have

  • Siemens Team Center PLM experience
  • Capital Logic experience
  • Experience performing line loss analysis
  • Experience with bent pin analysis
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate electrical interfaces between systems
  • DoD Secret Clearance at the time of application; the clearance must be current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
